Under The Skin opened its doors to the public in April 2022 and you can find us at Ialysos, Rhodes.
Tattooing is not a fashion! It is an ancient art that we can trace back to around the time humankind first appeared on the earth! It is thought that the first ever ''tattoo'' was an accident which happened when some charcoal touched a wound on someone’s palm, and then remained there forever! Otzi, a mummy found in the ice in the Alps, has charcoal drawings on his spine, behind the knee and around his ankles. Otzi is believed have lived in around 6000 BC!
You will find us in a brand new, 80 square meter professional space where we have created a traditional tattoo studio, following all the strictest hygiene rules. We respect the traditional art of tattooing (the forerunner of all styles of tattoo) and we would like to invite you to share our passion for traditional culture. Every customer is important to us. We treat every tattoo, no matter how big or small, with the same attention to detail and care, as we know that it is going to stay with you forever.

Because of this, we have designed a state-of-the-art space where you will feel comfortable, safe and confident about your new tattoo.
We use state-of-the-art equipment, single-use materials, sterile liquids, and colours based on the 2022 European Regulation.
All of the areas in our studio are disinfected daily, and any non-disposable tools are sterilised in a medical steriliser.
